What WE Believe

God

There is one God, self-existent and eternal, infinitely perfect, the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things (Genesis 1:1;

Matthew 5:48; John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16-17). God exists eternally in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, and equal in their glory (Genesis 1:1-2; Matthew 3:15-17; John 1:1-3).

Revelation

We believe the Scriptures, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God (2 Peter1:20-21). The Word of God is infallible, inerrant, authoritative, and sufficient for all God requires us to believe and do (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Humanity and Sin

The Bible makes it clear that all of humanity is created in the image of God, that is, in His likeness (Genesis 1:27, 9:6). With that being said, when sin entered the world, mankind was separated from God. Through this, the image of God was marred within themselves, and that damaged likeness has been passed on to all their descendants (Romans 5:12).

Salvation

We believe that Salvation is by Grace alone, through Faith alone, and through Christ alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Timothy 1:9-10; Romans 3:23-25)

We believe that, due to universal death through sin (Romans 3:23, 6:23), no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again (John 3:5-8); that salvation is only by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Ephesians1:7) and that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ through faith are declared righteous by God and become children of God (Romans 3:20-22; Heb.10:19-22).

The Church

We believe that the church is made up of all people who have placed their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior and now live in obedience to Him and His Word. Christ is the head of the church and the church exists to glorify God (Ephesians

5:23).

Resurrection and Consummation

We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead (2 Timothy 4:1).
